I guess you can call me a two-wheel geek from way back…I have been in the industry for almost 15 years and a cyclist for 30 years. I have been into motorcycles for almost as long. I grew up in a town north of San Diego, and fell in love with cycling and motorcycling while touring the back roads of Southern California. Not to mention riding to the beach!
After college, I took a job in the fishing industry in Alaska. When I wasn’t there slaving away, I traveled extensively through Mexico and Central America. After that, I settled in Seattle where I worked for a yacht builder, making big boats for rich people.
I eventually returned to San Diego, and got into the bike industry. I cut my teeth in retail at the same outfit where Chris Horner, the pro cyclist got his start. After that, I worked for NiteRider lighting. Then I became an outside sales rep for Fisher Bikes, then Trek; visiting shops throughout the Southwest for many years.
Outside of cycling and motorcycling, my hobbies include listening to the stereo, travel, and feeding the dog. This industry has given me the opportunity to ride my bike in eight countries.
I really enjoy working for Genuine Innovations. We build everything right here in Tucson. It’s a pretty rare thing anymore, to actually make your own stuff. There are some really talented people here, and they put a lot of thought and energy into each and every one of our products-and nobody does it better!
